“BLUE MIND” YOGA/SURF/MINDFULNESS Day Retreat @ WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC!

Back by popular demand with two opportunities to join us this summer! July 26th from 7:15 am - 5 pm. Our adventure at beautiful Wrightsville beach will include yoga and mindfulness led by LYF SUP founder/lead instructor and lifelong surfer/yoga practitioner, Allison Martin-Attix, and professional surf instruction provided by Mike Miller of Mike's Surf School.

Included in cost: surfboards, professional surf lesson, pre-surf mindfulness session, post-surf beach yoga, parking fees and transportation to and from the beach.

Recommended attire: A rash guard, bathing suit and sunscreen. All you need to bring to your lessons is a towel, packed lunch (we’ll bring a cooler), water and a sense of ADVENTURE!

Prerequisite: you must be able to swim. More detailed information will be provided with your registration.

Glide into SUMMER with us on Friday, June 21st!
We will begin with a special all levels yoga sequence on the beach to welcome summer and then celebrate the longest day of the year on the H20 together until dusk. All participants will receive a celebratory glow stick for our paddle in at dusk.

This event is open to all levels of paddle boarder/yoga practitioner and we welcome BYOB or even your kayak/canoe.
If you need SUP gear, we're limited to 8 boards and paddles, so please sign up in advance!

Just $35 for 3 hours (BYO $15)

We're teaming up with Jordan Lake State Park for a community FREE paddle hosted by yours truly!  

Parking is free. Please arrive on site by 5:45 pm. Come straight from work and change into your paddling gear in the restrooms!  
We will meet a ranger from the state park to sign in and receive gloves and garbage bags. After we clean the area of litter and debris, we'll head out into the water we love for a leisurely paddle.  

Boards are limited and you MUST RSVP for this event. OR if you have your own gear, you can BYO Board or any other paddle powered vessel (kayak, canoe, huckleberry fin raft ;) 

*Minimal SUP experience required; this class will not cover how to Stand Up Paddleboard.

Experience the changing colors, sights and sounds of the lake as nature prepares for dusk.  Join us as we glide over liquid gold and explore the waters of Jordan Lake as the sun sets to the west.  Relax with friends and fellow paddleboarders on the first Friday of every month, as you wind down the week.  

This casual tour is for paddlers of all abilities - we don't teach you how to paddleboard at this event, so please have basic experience.  Don't know how to SUP yet?  Sign up for our popular 101 class so you can learn how to paddleboard well beyond the basics!
